No One Came – On The Rug (Far Away From Home)

Please welcome our latest No One Came demo!

Since our last studio session, we have been working on this new tune remotely, using Fader Hub, my real-time collaboration tool, to rehearse, record, mix and listen in real time.

This tune is actually based on a couple of old ideas, and a few tracks have been recycled from sessions from the 2005-2010 era.

Remote Sessions

Recording in real-time remotely straight into the DAW speeds up the workflow and is such an improvement for inspiration/motivation compared to exchanging files offline!

We also did the last mixing session together, listening to changes in real-time with high quality audio streaming (non-destructive compression, equivalent to FLAC).

Drums and percussions were recorded separately in the studio, as shown earlier.
